Hi. I'm Ray. I don't really identify as a collector, per se; more as an accumulator of things within specific creative categories that allow me to express myself: drums, cymbals, percussion, guitars, keyboards, recording equipment, amateur photography. I guess I also like stylish acetate glasses frames and simple analog watches. All of the above may eventually be added as collections here.

Oh yeah, and I made Akurium — I'm the creator, developer, and owner.

This all started because I wanted a dedicated place to document and showcase my drums and cymbals. Then I realized other musicians might want a place to do the same, then — wait a minute! Any collector of things might want to document and showcase their stuff!

And so Akurium was born.
