Bradley Les Paul Custom

Bradley Les Paul Custom
This is the second item in this collection because it’s the first electric guitar that I ever had the pleasure of owning . I used my lawn mowing money to purchase this bad Larry in middle school, probably 1981 or 82. “Bradley” was the house brand imported by Veneman Music in Springfield, VA. Made in the Matsumoku factory in Japan. I recall paying around $120 as it was a “scratch and dent” discounted item. Over the years I swapped a number of pickups in and out, changed the tuners a couple of times, added the series/parallel toggle for the bridge pickup, and learned to play guitar on it in the process. The yet-to-be-discovered garage punk rock anthems “Rigor Mortis Sex” and “Sabrina the Witch” were penned on this axe, in collaboration with Joey Antinucci and Greg Wagner. Best paired with a Silvertone 1484 twin 12” borrowed from I can’t remember who. Earsplitting sonic nirvana.
Currently a Seymour Duncan something-or-other at the bridge and a StewMac Golden Age PAF clone at the neck. I plan to be buried with this guitar in my hands.
